    Step one:
  • First create a new layer, this layer will hold the tab. Select the round rectangle tool and set radius to 50 px.
  • In the layer you just created, draw a #000000 wide rectangle, Keep the height to a minimal. In this tutorial the height is 22 px.



    Step two:
  • Add the following layer styles.

    Structure Blend Mode: Normal
    Color: #FFFFFF
    Opacity: 100
    Angle: 90
    Use Global Light: Uncheck
    Distance: 3
